The Test Executor will work as a key member of our multidisciplinary teams to test, set up testing infrastructure and maintain our robots. This role will support all aspects of robot operation (primarily indoor). This will include preparing robots for daily testing, operating video cameras, communicating with engineers and technicians about the status of the robots and setting up props for daily testing. There will be a strong labor component to this job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive software and hardware testing on robots, meticulously documenting outcomes, key findings and results.

  • Collaborate with SQA, service technicians and engineers to document, troubleshoot, and efficiently resolve issues.

  • Ensure all relevant documentation is accurately completed, adhering to industry standards and company procedures.

  • Present robot demonstrations for potential customers and high-level visitors.

  • Engage with software developers, hardware engineers, and SEIT teams to optimize testing processes.

  • Ensure all relevant documentation is accurately completed, adhering to industry standards and company procedures using Jira, Salesforce and TestRails.

  • Stack or handle boxes up to 50lbs.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Skills:

    • Technical knowledge and experience in electronics.

    • Aptitude for diverse user interfaces (keyboards, game controllers, etc.) and swift adoption of new technologies.

    • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Gmail), Outlook, shared network drives, Jira, and Salesforce for task management, project tracking, and team communication.

    • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

    • Basic understanding of foundational science concepts and an aptitude for quickly grasping new terminology.

    • Adept in software and hardware testing procedures.

  • Essential Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication for precise reporting and effective conveyance of information across various teams.

    • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively, engaging others to foster a collaborative approach.

    • Exceptional attention to detail, focusing on precision and quality.

    • Exceptional customer focus, providing outstanding support to internal stakeholders.

    • Adaptability and versatility to handle shifting priorities, challenges, and a variety of tasks from technical troubleshooting to administrative documentation.

Preferred skills:

  • Prior experience with Arena, Linux.

  • Prior experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and walkie stackers.

  • Previous experience testing finished products for defects, debugging failures and anomalies.

  • Prior experience with graphics programs such as Adobe Suite or similar, and design concepts/visual communication.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or robotics environment.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and industry standards.

Travel & Transportation:

  • Reliable transportation is required for this position.

  • Possible travel up to 10%
