What you’ll be doing:
You will lead team of highly skilled and motivated engineers working on digital video technologies.
Build the processes to achieve high quality software development
Make the right technical choices and tradeoffs governed by data driven development
Coordinate with multi-functional software teams contributing to roadmap
Continuous improvement of quality and performance of the software and raise the bar
Decide the objective and goals and drive team towards achieving those
Guide the team for shipping the solutions
What we need to see:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computers, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field with 8+ overall years of proven experience with focus on software development for embedded SOCs
4+ years of managing a team
Excellent exposure to digital video sub systems
Relevant working experience in implementing video compression standards
Background in developing and implementation of pre and post processing algorithms for digital video pipeline
Proficient in C and modern C++, Python scripting
Experience in leading multisite teams
Thrive in Linux and QNX development platform.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Understanding of state of art H.264/H.265/AV1 standards
Performance and power optimizations for video playback, record use cases.
Video algorithms such as rate control, pre processing filters, ML/DL/Cuda based techniques, Frame rate up conversion, HDR playback pipeline
ASPICE and ISO – 26262 safety standard
Knowledge of using AI assisted tools for manager functions and some exposure to such tools for development work.
