Responsibilities
• Architect, design and develop firmware for reliable, scalable, high performing SERDES/PCIE IPs using C/C++.
• Develop new features and enhance existing features for AI infrastructure connecting products by designing firmware and algorithms tailored for Marvell mixed signal hardware-based accelerators.
• Develop software and troubleshoot issues related to hardware bring-up, multi-threaded software development with virtualized hardware.
• Work with application engineers (AE), product managers and cross functional hardware/software engineers to investigate and solve customer issues.
• Analyze and investigate methods to enhance firmware performance on Marvell SoC/IP by using existing hardware and simulators and suggest future hardware/software design improvements.
• Plan, schedule, estimate efforts for projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers during execution.
• Work on MCU based SERDES/PCIe products, design and develop firmware and software for networking and switching products.
What We're Looking For
• BS / MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience with:
o C/C++
o RTOS or Scheduler
o Microcontroller embedded firmware with mixed signal products
o Hardware bring-up on microcontroller with IDE through JTAG, SW
o SERDES/PCIE protocol familiarity
o Github and Jira familiarity
o Python is a plus
o Github Copilot is a plus
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
124,420 - 186,400, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
