Senior Backend Developer

Overview

In this role as a Senior Backend Developer at Creative Clicks, you’ll work closely with our Product Management and Business Intelligence team to translate their needs into elegant, fast and responsive services. The backend is your bread-and-butter and what you'll be spending most of your time on, but you're well equipped to jump in and meet the team's frontend related needs.

Key Activities

• Working as part of a small team to deliver sustainable IT solutions. 

• Integrate APIs and web services for mobile clients to our platform. 

• Helping design, build and deploy new features, across the backend and working closely with the frontend team. 

• Working on big data streams. 

• Working with a wide range (and growing) stack of Cloud Services. 

• Design, release and maintain a secure, highly available, highly scalable and failure tolerant Mobile Cloud Platform. 

• Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure the successful running of our applications

Job Requirements

• 8+  years of programming experience 

• Bachelor or Vocational degree in IT 

• Proficient in C# programming, following industry best practices

• Experience in .NET Core and legacy .NET Framework

• Experience in relational databases (MySQL/SQL) and NoSQL databases 

• Creating performant RESTful applications and serverless functions in the cloud 

• Experience in Entity Framework 

• Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a rapidly changing environment 

• Fluency in English, spoken and written 

• Eager to learn new technologies 

• Experience in Cloud Computing Services  such as AWS or Microsoft Azure 

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
