  • Design and implement features and REST APIs within established system architecture.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues in Linux-based embedded systems.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and reliable software delivery.
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests, and support system testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate actively in code reviews and apply agreed coding standards and engineering practices.
  • Estimate assigned work, communicate progress, and raise technical risks early.

Required Qualifications

  • Practical commercial experience developing applications with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience building or consuming REST APIs and working with modern web applications.
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills in a Linux environment.
  • Working knowledge of common communication and transport protocols such as Ethernet, serial, and TLS/SSL.
  • Experience with source control and collaborative software development practices.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React.js.
  • Experience with Docker for containerisation.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD or a comparable automation platform.
  • Experience with Linux system configuration.
  • Exposure to IoT projects or hardware-software integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile methods and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with Rust is an additional advantage.

Benefits

  • Employment contract with competitive salary.
  • Work in small, self-organised, autonomous development teams with opportunities to influence technologies and best practices.
  • Hybrid work model (office in Kraków, Poland or Lisburn, UK).
  • Company Pension and Life Assurance Schemes.
  • On-site parking for cars and bikes.
  • For employees joining our office in Poland: UoP with 80% author’s rights tax relief.
  • MyBenefit system with Multisport membership and private healthcare through Medicover.
  • Wellness programmes.

Our Values

  • We work together
  • We believe in people
  • We won’t accept the ‘way it has always been done’
