About the Role

As a Mobile Developer, you will develop high-performance Android and cross-platform mobile applications that power Rapsodo's sports technology products. Working closely with product, design, backend, and QA teams, you'll help deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable mobile experiences used by athletes around the world.

 
What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain Android and cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following MVVM, modern architecture principles, and best development practices.
• Build responsive, high-quality user experiences using Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Jetpack libraries.
• Improve application architecture, performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, concurrency, and memory management.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with modern mobile technologies and contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering team.

 
What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Android mobile application development. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android fundamentals, including Activities, Fragments, Services, Intents, and Broadcast Receivers.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and modern Android development practices.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and local databases such as SQLite, Room, or Realm.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for learning new technologies.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional engineering environment.
