Junior Android Developer

OBDeleven is all about making car tech easy and accessible for everyone. For over 10 years, we’ve been building powerful yet simple diagnostic and customization tools for car enthusiasts worldwide.

As we continue to expand the OBDeleven ecosystem, we're looking for a Junior Android Developer who will help us build and improve mobile experiences used by automotive enthusiasts and professionals around the world.

You'll work with Kotlin Multiplatform code shared between Android and iOS, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to mobile features used by OBDeleven customers worldwide.

What you'll do

• Work with Kotlin Multiplatform code shared between Android and iOS applications
• Build, improve, and maintain mobile features used by customers worldwide
• Implement new functionality and contribute to improving existing product experiences
• Work with APIs and integrate mobile features with backend services
• Collaborate with Android, iOS, backend, hardware/embedded, and other R&D engineers
• Take ownership of individual tasks and features, from understanding requirements to implementation and delivery
• Contribute to technical discussions and learn from more experienced engineers
• Write clean, maintainable code and follow established development practices
• Help identify and resolve bugs, technical issues, and areas for improvement
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar to support your daily development workflow
• Continuously learn and improve your technical skills, development practices, and understanding of the product.

We expect

• 1+ year of hands-on experience developing Android applications with Kotlin
• Good understanding of Android development fundamentals and mobile application architecture
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, backend services, and how mobile applications communicate with them
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and product teams
• Interest in using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• Practical exposure to iOS development, Swift, or working with Android and iOS codebases would be considered an advantage
• Fluency in Lithuanian and full professional proficiency in English.

Salary range   
Gross salary in a range: 2000 - 4400€ / month (depends on your experience).
