INTERNSHIP/THESIS IN CAE/FEM – FULL-STACK / FRONTEND DEVELOPMENT

Location Lippstadt, Germany

YOUR TASKS

As part of your internship or thesis in CAE/FEM, you will contribute to the development of full-stack and frontend solutions. You will gain hands-on experience across different technical topics within the application environment, ranging from user interfaces to backend logic.

  • Frontend development: Develop user interfaces using React or Angular and contribute to modern frontend solutions that can be integrated into the application.
  • Backend development: Implement backend functions in Python, for example with FastAPI or Flask, and help build the foundation for data processing and automation.
  • Interfaces and integration: Create backend endpoints and integrate frontend and backend via REST APIs to ensure reliable interaction between both sides and smooth technical processes.
  • Data exchange and databases: Support reliable and secure data exchange within the application and work with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Development environment: Use Linux tools for development, testing, and deployment and support the resolution of environment-related topics.
  • Code quality and further development: Contribute to debugging, support existing data flows, and help continuously improve code quality.

START: after arrangement
DURATION: at least 12 weeks

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrolled student: During your time at HELLA, you are enrolled at a university and have not yet completed your final examination requirement.
  • Field of study: You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Programming skills: You have experience with Python for backend development as well as React or Angular for frontend development.
  • REST APIs: You understand how REST APIs work and how frontend and backend communicate with each other.
  • Databases: You have experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Linux environment: You are comfortable working in a Linux development environment or willing to learn it quickly.
  • Language skills: You have good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
  • Way of working: You are team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
