While our robots are out in the world performing complex tasks, our Service and Support team needs a sophisticated, high-performance toolkit to monitor, diagnose, and maintain them.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design and build a centralized Knowledge Base and a suite of Internal Tools that bridge the gap between raw robotic telemetry and actionable human insights. You will work closely with stakeholders in all aspects of the product development cycle to ensure field facing teams have the information they need when they need it.

In many companies, internal tools are an afterthought. Here, they are a critical mission-multiplier. Without your tools, our robots stay in the lab. With them, we can scale our fleet across the globe.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop scalable web applications from the database layer to the frontend UI, specifically designed for technical service and support workflows.

  • Build pipelines to ingest and visualize complex dataβ€”think robot health metrics, error codes, and sensor logsβ€”into a searchable, intuitive Knowledge Base.

  • Design interfaces that make massive amounts of technical data easy to navigate for any robot troubleshooter.

  • Advocate for the diagnostic design process, provide critical feedback for user experience for field operations of our robot.

  • Run compliance tooling and auditing process to ensure documentation matches the required infrastructure and expected front-end behaviors.

  • Work closely with Robotics Software Engineers and Support Leads to understand and develop around the "pain points" of maintaining hardware in the field.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack web-development, diagnostics and troubleshooting in electromechanical systems, and engineering design

  • Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows (e.g., Pull Requests, Code Reviews)

  • Proficiency in a high level programming language such as Python/C++

  • Proficiency in full-stack technologies such as React, NodeJS, Postgres, etc.

  • Familiarity with modern static site generators (e.g., Docusaurus) and Markdown-to-HTML workflows

  • UX design experience, using FIGMA etc.

  • Experience integrating systems and utilizing APIs

  • Ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting in electromechanical systems.

  • Deep understanding of API security standards (OAuth2, HMAC, etc.)

  • CI/CD: maintain deployment pipelines for automated testing and release.

  • Proficiency in maintaining and optimizing databases. Expertise in writing queries and understanding complex joins, views, and data types.
