MusicX is a Product Area within the Music Mission that works across a portfolio of industry and consumer facing products. Our work is anchored around maximizing Spotify's music catalogue, with a strong focus on music-centric video, and helping artists connect more deeply with their fans through tools that support promotion, discovery, and engagement.
As Spotify increases its investment in music videos our team focuses on ensuring that these videos are discoverable by fans, perform well for artists, and are supported by smarter infrastructure that scales as supply grows.
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join the band. As a member of the team, you will be building systems that enable all squads across the Music Mission to be able easily add functionality that enables artists to expand their ability to reach fans.
\nThe United States base range for this position is $107,483 - $153,547 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
