As a Backend Engineer, you will be working with latest backend technology in a big data, cloud-based environment.
While we try to keep our code up to the current standards we are always looking for ways to improve our backend environment. You will have the opportunity to steer our current best-practice and drive continuous improvements.
As a Backend Engineer, you will be working with latest backend technology in a big data, cloud-based environment.

- Development, maintenance and testing of high-performance core data processing components and API.
- Collaboration on design choices based on SOLID principles and distributed, asynchronous, event-driven patterns.
- Adoption of company best-practice with incremental responsibility of the platform’s main backend assets.
- Monthly code-kata, agile exercise via internal workshop and other activities.
- Strong expertise on PHP programming mainly with OOP and SOLID.
- Expertise with testing framework like PHPUnit or other BDD tools like Behat.
- Strong expertise with Node.JS/TypeScript.
- Experience with big data engineering patterns and practices.
- Hands-on experience with php frameworks Symfony and Laravel.
- Experience in Agile workflows (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with Git, Linux and Bash scripting.
- Experience with Golang
- Cloud experience on AWS
- JS and front-end stack familiarity (react-redux).
- Experience with MongoDB
