Senior Software Developer (React Native Mobile)

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to play a key role in the design, development, and support of enterprise-grade mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. This individual contributor position partners closely with cross-functional engineering teams to architect scalable solutions, enhance mobile performance, and deliver seamless user experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong experience developing mobile applications using React Native, integrating with cloud-based services, and working with connected devices and Bluetooth technologies. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and development to production support and ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Participate in application architecture, technical planning, and solution design discussions.
• Build and maintain reusable software components, libraries, and SDKs to support integration across multiple applications.
• Develop and optimize mobile connectivity solutions utilizing Bluetooth and related communication technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, crashes, and connectivity challenges.
• Investigate and address mobile-to-device integration and interoperability issues.
• Implement production fixes, patches, and enhancements to improve application stability and user experience.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and support teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve reported issues.
• Monitor application health, analytics, and error reporting tools to proactively identify and correct defects.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in development practices, software quality, and system reliability.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
• 3+ years of experience working with Bluetooth technologies and mobile device connectivity.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend integrations, databases, and cloud-based application architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting complex mobile application issues in production environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing SDKs, reusable frameworks, or shared mobile components.
• Familiarity with IoT-enabled applications and connected device ecosystems.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, analytics, and performance optimization best practices.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across mobile, backend, and device connectivity layers.
