Job Description

Our client is a leading German asset management company which provides tailored asset management solutions, including mutual funds and pensions, focusing on sustainability, transparency, and delivering value to clients.

Responsibilities:

Streamline Software Delivery -> Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab to ensure efficient, automated software delivery and shorter release cycles.

Modernize Deployment Practices -> Support development teams in deploying services across OpenShift environments using Docker and Helm, contributing to a reliable and consistent deployment pipeline.

Elevate Observability -> Monitor system performance and availability using Grafana and Prometheus dashboards, ensuring quick detection of anomalies and effective incident response.

Automate with Precision -> Develop and maintain scripts and automation routines for infrastructure and software installations, boosting consistency and reducing manual work.

Secure Operational Excellence -> Manage secrets, certificates, and credentials through Vault, applying security best practices to protect sensitive operational data.

Accelerate Microservices Communication -> Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and optimize microservices-based architectures and communication workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in system operations on Linux environments
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps) and version control systems
• Strong containerization skills with Docker and Kubernetes (especially AKS)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Bicep)
• Advanced scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for automation
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies and Azure’s analytics/AI stack
• Fluent in English and German

• Nice to have:

• Experience with Java (Spring Boot, JUnit, TDD) to better align with developer workflows
