Senior DevOps Engineer

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. We are looking for a strategic technology professional who can drive our cloud infrastructure, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, and overall system reliability.

Job Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role requires a deep understanding of modern cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform
• Develop and maintain comprehensive CI/CD pipelines using to GitLab CI
• Architect and manage containerization strategies using Cloud Managed Kubernetes
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments across Azure and AWS
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment processes and improve system reliability
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues
• Implement and maintain robust security protocols, including access management, network security, and compliance standards
• Participate On-call activities

Required Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering roles
• Production-grade Kubernetes projects from the scratch (proven, hands-on production experience with Kubernetes)
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi)
• Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go)
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline development (Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Application management using GitOps approach (FluxCD, Argo CD).
• Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Advanced understanding of networking, security, and system administration
• Experience with developing and implementing cloud spending strategies
• Monitoring: ELK Stack, and CloudWatch
