Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who embodies ambition and positivity to help us build The New Possible.

In this product-focused role, you will design and develop the APIs that customers worldwide use to manage the quantum controllers of tomorrow's quantum computers.

You embrace the challenge of requirements engineering in a cutting-edge field and take pride in delivering high-quality, tested software that drives innovation.

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficient in at least one of Go, Python, or Kotlin, with a willingness to learn the others.
• Strong experience building and maintaining web services using gRPC and REST.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment and managing configuration with Ansible.
• Proven track record in the full software development lifecycle: from requirements engineering and design to development and testing.
• Passionate about technology and able to dive into new technologies quickly.
• Strong engineering capabilities with the ability to work independently.
• Capable of executing under uncertainty in a dynamic environment.
• Enjoy working in a cross-geography, multi-site environment.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
