Senior AWS Cloud Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Pay Range: $118.33hr - $123.33hr

Job Overview:

• The successful candidate will serve as a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer within the Enterprise Services team, focusing on supporting cloud initiatives and infrastructure. The role involves managing infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and ensuring best practices within the AWS Cloud environment.

Top 5 Required Technical Skills:

• Advanced experience with AWS Operations.
• Experience with AWS application development, specifically Terraform, Go, Python and Gitlab/CICD.
• Experience with AWS scripting and monitoring, specifically Terraform, Go, Python and Gitlab/CICD.
• Technical background in both Linux environments and Lambdas/Serverless.
• Understanding of Networking concepts.

Responsibilities:

• This position is for a role within the Enterprise Services team to support the organization's Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud initiative and infrastructure. The primary activities will be the management of the infrastructure, development and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), development of procedures, and providing insight into best practices on configuring the environments within the AWS Cloud.
• Responsibilities include daily team interactions in Agile ceremonies and practices, development of IaC to include scripting, and security for various environment scenarios. The Cloud Engineer will provide documentation for best practices and support for application development tools. Participation in an on-call rotation is expected.
