Python Backend Engineer

A rapidly growing international tech company, building innovative SaaS solutions for the financial sector, is looking for a Python Backend Engineer to strengthen its development team. The company develops scalable digital lending platforms that process billions in loans and thousands of applications daily, empowering institutions to deliver capital more efficiently.

In this role, you will design and maintain backend systems and APIs in a cloud-native environment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and take ownership of solutions that transform the lending industry.

🤝 Main responsibilities:
• Work closely with Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps and Product Owners to solve complex problems.
• Be an active member of the full-stack development team.
• Join daily stand-ups and showcase progress in regular demos.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs from scratch.
• Manage development and production environments, ensuring smooth deployments.
• Thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment with continuous improvement.

✅ Key requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Python and serverless architectures.
• Experience designing JSON schemas and building APIs.
• Solid background with AWS services (CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, SES, SQS, SNS, RDS).
• Strong knowledge of databases (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL) and schema design.
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, containers.
• Solid troubleshooting and log analysis skills.
• Team-oriented and collaborative approach.
