OT Cybersecurity Engineer (Contractual)

Our Potential Opportunity

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Project-Based OT Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic OT Cybersecurity Team. This role is pivotal in delivering and implementing OT Cybersecurity Solutions to ensure the protection of critical industrial infrastructure in the Oil & Gas sector.

Role Type: 6-Month Contract

Rotational Job: 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

Cybersecurity & operations technology responsibilities system and application management

• Operating system and application patching
• Windows/Linux hardening (servers and PCs)
• PLC management and lifecycle support
• Backup solutions implementation and monitoring
• Hardware and software inventory management and sustainment

Network and infrastructure security

• Configuration and hardening of firewalls, switches, and routers
• ACL reviews (Active Directory and RADIUS)
• Access reviews for accounts, privileged levels, and usage
• Vulnerability monitoring and remediation
• ENC certification and renewals

Governance, risk, and compliance

• Management of Change (MOCs)
• Cybersecurity PMs execution
• Assist the Cybersecurity team with:
• Risk assessments and Gap assessments
• Process Control upgrade projects commissioning
• Cyber ERP/DRP Drills

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Proven experience in industrial automation environments (OT Cybersecurity) and a strong grasp of network security protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Competencies: Readiness for offshore deployment and the ability to work independently in remote environments.
