The development team is responsible for Voetbal International, VoetbalPrimeur and GPblog) and are expanding the team with a Lead Frontend Engineer. We are rewriting our platforms to TypeScript (NextJS / React / TS.ED), but also working on a redesign of GPblog and of course a lot of new other features. As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will play a leading role in these projects (and relieve the CTO in this).
You will therefore have to be sufficiently familiar with the above technologies, but also be visually oriented and ensure that we deliver (almost) perfect SCSS as a team. Your role as Lead Frontend Engineer does not only focus on your work, you also actively monitor the rest of the team, provide feedback and make decisions where necessary. Preferably, you already have experience with this in a previous role.
With our development team, we work at the head office in Amsterdam-Noord, right on the IJ and around the corner from the Foodmarkt and the Oedipus Brewery. The team you work in is a young, dynamic but above all enthusiastic team where pleasure in work is not forgotten. As long as we work in the office, not a day goes by that we don’t play table football.
Our tech team focuses on the maintenance and further development of Digital Enterprises’ own titles. As devs, we have a lot of freedom and space for input in this. In addition to the aforementioned titles, we are working on Next Day Media, No Fronts and two new platforms to be launched (more about this during your application). Prepare for high traffic websites: with almost every platform, we serve millions of unique visitors per month! How cool is it to see people on the train using what you have made?
