We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a specialized focus on Kubernetes clusters operating within AWS and Azure environments. This role is pivotal in optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment processes, and driving innovation across our product ecosystem.
What you'll be doing
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters in AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Implement best practices for security, reliability, and scalability of container orchestration
- Monitor cluster performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain uptime and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement AWS and Azure solutions that align with business needs
- Customize cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Develop advanced automation scripts using Python to enhance deployment processes and integrate systems
- Utilize Golang knowledge for specific projects that require higher performance and concurrency capabilities
- Optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery
- Implement solutions for automatic rollback in case of deployment failures
- Stay updated with new technologies and methodologies in cloud computing and DevOps practices
- Lead initiatives to incorporate emerging technologies into the workflow to improve efficiency
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, product managers, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality solutions
- Communicate effectively about progress, roadblocks, and future plans
What you'll bring along
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required
- A min 5-7 years demonstrable experience in a DevOps Engineer role
- Proven experience with Kubernetes, specifically within AWS EKS and Azure AKS environments
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting and understanding of Golang
- Extensive knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services and architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with DevOps practices such as version control, infrastructure automation, and system monitoring
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps Engineer
- Experience with microservices architecture and Docker
- Familiarity with system administration and networking practices
