Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking, dependable, and motivated Landscape & Construction Specialist to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will assist with residential and commercial landscaping and construction projects throughout the Redlands area. This is a hands-on position involving outdoor work, landscape installation, hardscape construction, site preparation, and general construction activities.

Candidates with experience in landscaping, concrete, masonry, excavation, or general construction are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping and general construction activities at residential and commercial properties.
• Prepare job sites through excavation, grading, leveling, and site cleanup.
• Install trees, shrubs, flowers, sod, mulch, decorative rock, and other landscape materials.
• Construct patios, walkways, driveways, and paver installations.
• Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing.
• Build and install retaining walls and other hardscape structures.
• Assist with drainage, irrigation, and landscape lighting installations.
• Support outdoor living construction projects, including fire pits, pergolas, and outdoor kitchens.
• Operate landscaping equipment, power tools, and construction machinery safely.
• Read basic project plans and follow measurements and installation specifications.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Coordinate with crew members and project supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
• Follow company quality standards and job-site safety procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, construction, hardscaping, or a related trade is preferred.
• Knowledge of landscape installation and property improvements.
• Basic understanding of grading, excavation, and site preparation.
• Familiarity with concrete, pavers, retaining walls, and masonry is an advantage.
• Ability to operate common hand tools and power tools safely.
• Experience with skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, or similar equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read basic construction plans and take accurate measurements.
• Strong physical ability to perform outdoor and construction-related tasks.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
