We are looking for an IT system administrator to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the systems, tools, and user environments that support our mission to make cyber risks manageable for our insurance partners and their small and medium-sized customers. Your responsibilities will include managing our client applications, office networks, and VPNs, as well as overseeing mobile device management. You will also further develop our zero-trust approach to maximize security while minimizing administrative effort for you and the team.
Daily IT support: Handle and resolve day-to-day IT incidents and user requests
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix hardware, software, and network-related issues
System monitoring: Monitor and administer IT systems (e.g., Microsoft Defender, JumpCloud)
MDM & devices: Manage device provisioning, policies, and security settings via MDM
Network & VPN administration: Maintain office networks, VPNs, and secure connectivity
Website management: Maintain and update our WordPress website, including backups and security updates
License and tool management: Manage user accounts, licenses, and software plans
Zero-trust environment: Maintain and enhance our zero-trust security approach
Employee lifecycle: Support Onboarding and Offboarding processes for employees
Atlassian administration: Manage and maintain our Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Google Workspace (G-Suite): Administer and optimize our Google Workspace environment
Documentation: Create and maintain clear IT documentation and configuration records
Cost & inventory management: Maintain the inventory, contracts, and billing information of our IT tools and services
Completed training or degree in IT or comparable practical experience
Strong knowledge of IT administration, networking, and security concepts
Experience with cloud-based tools such as JumpCloud, Google Workspace, and MDM platforms
Basic understanding of WordPress website management
Familiarity with zero-trust principles and identity-driven access control
Structured, solution-oriented, and service-minded approach to work
Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) are beneficial
Experience with managing tool inventories, contracts, and cost structures is a plus
