iOS Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an iOS Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role is focused on the design and development of front-end applications for a dedicated mobile team. The ideal candidate will translate design mockups into functional user interfaces, implement front-end logic, and integrate back-end APIs. This is a hands-on development position requiring experience in building and maintaining next-generation iOS mobile applications within a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and prototype front-end applications for the mobile team
• Translate design mockups into functional user interfaces and implement front-end logic
• Develop screens and components by integrating back-end APIs
• Collaborate with design and middleware teams to define and review app features and functionality
• Ensure the quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and resolve application bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Maintain code and implement application updates
• Design and build next-generation, high-end iOS mobile applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Master's in Software Engineering
• 5-7 years of professional experience as an application developer
• 5 years of experience in iOS Development using Swift, UIKit and/or Objective C
• Hands-on experience with Copilot
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket
• Strong working knowledge of iOS Frameworks, Objective-C, Swift & Swift UI
• Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and usage of Camera APIs
• Able to create functional and attractive applications that meet user needs

Desired skills:

• Experience with continuous integration and unit tests
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Appium
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
