DevOps Engineer

Your team

Pictet Tech designs and integrates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations, as well as sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.

The Datacentre Services unit builds reliable infrastructures that host applications throughout the Pictet Group. As such, we design, develop and operate platforms that balance security, compliance, performance and resilience in public and private clouds.

Your role

• Designing, building and operating secure and resilient on-premises and cloud hosting platforms, with a focus on crypto and blockchain infrastructures.
• Managing and optimising virtualisation environments, ensuring high availability and performance for critical workloads.
• Implementing and enforcing advanced security measures for hardware security modules (HSMs), including access controls, monitoring, compliance and disaster recovery.
• Implementing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate roll-out and infrastructure management.
• Ensuring secret and key management (Vault, KMS, HSM), container security, Zero Trust approach and supply chain security.
• Automating and streamlining operations through scripting (Python, Bash or PowerShell) and promoting modern DevOps practices. 
• Leading and mentoring: contributing to the product vision, coordinating technical projects and supporting the growth of other teams and domain experts.

Your profile

• Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. 
• Cloud technology certification and/or hands-on experience. 
• Strong knowledge of architecture topics such as integration, security, networking and identity and access management. 
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Go, Bash or PowerShell. 
• Experience with CI/CD tools, GitOps, infrastructure as code, observability (Prometheus), configuration management and secret management (Vault, KMS and HSM). 
• Experience in container security and cloud/on-premises infrastructure. 
• Team player with excellent communication skills, curiosity and a proactive mindset.
• Fluent in French and English.

You will contribute to designing, rolling out and oversee :

• Physical or virtual server hosting – Linux, legacy Unix or Windows.
• Container hosting and observability infrastructures.
• Networking and storage infrastructures.
• On-premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Hardware security module (HSM) infrastructures, secret and key management (Vault, KMS).
