DevOps Engineer

Are you ready to bridge the gap between code and production at scale? We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Expert) to join our team in Finland. In this role, you will help configure, transform, operate, and automate Telia’s Fixed, IP, Mobile Core, and RAN (B2X) network monitoring and automation solutions, ensuring performance, resilience, and high observability across our critical platforms. 

What you’ll do: 

You will design, develop, and evolve network monitoring and automation systems that support Telia’s large-scale telecom operations. 

• Design, configure, develop, and improve Telia’s network monitoring and automation platforms in line with business requirements 

• Deliver defined features by selecting and implementing the most suitable technical approaches 

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on platform evolution, upgrades, migrations, and consolidation 

• Drive automation and transformation by converting manual workflows into scalable, automated processes 

What will help you thrive in this role:  

You are proactive, self-driven, and comfortable taking ownership in complex environments. You solve root causes rather than symptoms, collaborate effectively across teams, and understand that secure and well-tested solutions are essential. 

• University degree in IT Systems Development, Operations, Telecommunications, or related field 

• Relevant experience in DevOps, systems integration, IT, or network operations 

• Hands-on experience with Linux, Unix shell scripting, VMware, Kubernetes, and Ansible 

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack 

• Good understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, etc.) 

• Foundational SQL knowledge (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) 

• Experience with software development (Java, C/C++, Python, Perl, or similar) 

• Full professional proficiency in English 

Understanding mobile or fixed networks is considered an advantage.

For Lithuanian applicants monthly salary range for this position - from 4300 Eur to 6400 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
