We are an international team of ambitious engineers combining expertise in autonomous systems and UAV design.
We are looking for a new team member who is eager to make a real difference! As Cybersecurity Engineer, you will lead the development of secure digital infrastructure, policies, and systems to enable TYTAN’s operations across Europe—including classified and unclassified environments. You will establish and oversee security of our systems and help us build an environment that is compliant, resilient, and fit for a defense company operating in a fast-changing world.

Your roadmap to make an impact
  • Secure Microsoft 365 and Azure AD/Entra environment (MFA, conditional access, role-based access).
  • Set up and manage IT infrastructure (network, servers, cloud, endpoints) an implement endpoint security for both Windows and Ubuntu/Linux systems.
  • Set up logging, monitoring, and vulnerability management for mixed OS environments.
  • Define and enforce policies for access control, password policy, patching, and incident response.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and coordinate external pentests.
  • Monitor for leaked credentials or sensitive data (including dark web checks).
  • Work with product developers to embed secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
  • Perform awareness training exercises for employees.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra, Intune, GitHub an onboard/offboard employees; provide IT support.
Who you are
  • 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security engineering, ideally in tech or defence.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD security, and Linux/Ubuntu hardening.
  • Familiarity with SIEM/EDR tools that support hybrid environments.
  • Awareness of identity & access management and zero trust principles.
  • Experience in vulnerability scanning, patch management, and security automation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks such as BSI IT-Grundschutz, and familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, and ISO 27032.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
Nice to have:
  • Dark web monitoring / OSINT experience.
  • Experience with IoT/OT security.
  • Hands-on scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Prior exposure to ISO 27001, SOC2, or GDPR compliance
