Ford Vehicle and Mobility Cybersecurity is seeking professionals with a strong interest in understanding and resolving technical challenges in the automotive cybersecurity domain.
What you'll do...
• Create use cases, proof-of-concept demonstrations, specifications and requirements, knowledge base articles
• Perform competitive analyses and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies
Actively working with security stakeholders
• Interact with business customers to resolve support issues and gather business requirements
• Complete analysis & development of support tasks with quick implementation and resolution
• Knowledge and practical experience of agile delivery
• Ability to deliver product roadmap milestones
• Provide Agile artifacts associated with application components
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
• Willingness to continuously learn
• Highly motivated professional (self-starter and results oriented), able to work with little supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
What you’ll use on a day-to-day basis:
• Develop all tiers, front-end (Angular), back-end and database (DB2) and work on stories individually
• Use Hoppscotch/Postman to perform API testing
• Manage Tekton for CI/CD deployments
• Use Cycode/SonarQube/Fossa/42Crunch to identify code vulnerabilities and code quality
• Improve Continuous Integration tooling by automating manual processes within the delivery pipeline and improving quality gates.
• Implement tooling that monitors application performance and automatically notifies team when a failure occurs in production
You'll have...
• Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science OR a combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience with Java
• Experience with unit-testing for frontend and backend, mock frameworks, Spring Boot 3+, Angular 16+, Java 17
• Experience with Postgres SQL
• Experience with DevOps tools (pipeline and repository migration and troubleshooting)
• Experience with common development tools (e.g. git, Tekton, GoogleCloud,
OpenShift)

This position is a range of salary grades 5-8.
*Note: This is a hybrid role, you are expected to relocate if you are not within commutable distance, and responsible to be on site 4 days a week
