SAIC is seeking Cybersecurity Engineers to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS.
The ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region.
Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by fall 2025.
The Cybersecurity Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect infrastructure from cyber threats.
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate cyber risks.
- Develop and manage cybersecurity plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide subject matter expertise to and advise cybersecurity officials on regulations, projects, tools, etc. resulting in successful program execution.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience implementing corrections, actions, bug fixes, implementing patches, or other remediation activity.
- Experience supporting a broad range of tools across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network security domains.
- Experience with tools and platforms such as EDR, DLP, secure web gateway, email security, IDPS, firewalls, SIEM, and identity protection solutions.
- Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux system administration, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and integrating cloud-native security technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with establishing, implementing, and maintaining the A&A lifecycle using the NIST RMF.
Level I\: Bachelors and 0-4 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Level II\: Bachelors and 5-8 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Level III\: Bachelors and 9-17 years of experience or an additional 4 years in lieu of degree.
Level IV\: Masters and 16+ years of experience or an additional 4 years in lieu of degree.
Desired Qualifications:
- One or more Cybersecurity-related technology certifications or related technical training.
- IASAE certification.
