PREFERENCES:
Preference will be given to those with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or public administration, management, finance, or accounting. Additionally, the agency seeks a proven, major unit leader with a track record of building strong relationships with team members and outside partners.
Successful applicants would be a Master Electrician and an Electrical Inspector certified by the International Code Council or the International Association of Electrical Inspectors. The ideal candidate would possess a minimum of eight years of experience in inspections.
Applicants will have 18 months to obtain a Commercial Plans Reviewer Certification and a Commercial Electrical Inspection Certification.

Operational excellence: Demonstrated ability to audit work processes and documentation to ensure compliance with Agency regulations or guidelines, manage continuous improvement efforts of work processes, and demonstrate ability to use, interpret, and apply electrical safety requirements and codes.
