Backend Tech Lead

At ONE ZERO, Israel’s first fully digital bank, we’re building the technology that powers a new era of intuitive, transparent, people-first banking. As our platform grows and our services expand, we’re looking for a  Backend Tech Lead to join our Infrastructure team, where we focus on building robust tools, libraries, and integrations that support cross-team services and enable engineering excellence at scale.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving deep technical challenges, working with modern infrastructure, and driving platform-wide impact

• Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and shared libraries used across multiple engineering teams
• Build and support integrations with core infrastructure systems such as Kafka, AWS, K8s and Snowflake
• Develop scalable, reliable, and reusable infrastructure components in a distributed, cloud-native environment
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to understand their needs and deliver high-impact solutions
• Take ownership of technical initiatives from design through production, including testing and deployment
• Tackle diverse technical tasks that support the stability, performance, and scalability of our platform
• Collaborate closely with DevOps to streamline development workflows, enhance deployment efficiency, and ensure operational excellence across teams

• 7+ years of experience in server-side or infrastructure development
• Expertise in building backend services with Spring Boot (Kotlin/Java) and build tools like Maven or Gradle – must
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
• Solid experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data platforms and data pipelines – strong advantage
• Experience with Python – an advantage
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
