At Quin, we’re building the next generation of digital healthcare tools for caregivers in both primary and secondary care. Our mission: keep healthcare sustainable and accessible for everyone. We do this by creating practical, scalable software that supports clinicians in delivering better care, faster.

We’re not a place for hierarchy or handholding. We’re a small, highly skilled team of engineers who take ownership from concept to production. We’re now looking for a Backend Engineer who thrives in execution mode and someone who wants to build, ship, and make a direct impact.

🛠️ What you’ll be doing

• Own your code: From architecture to deployment, you’ll take full responsibility for the backend systems you build.
• Build for scale and stability: Design and implement backend services that are robust, maintainable, and ready to grow with us.
• Shape technical direction: Collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers to translate product goals into scalable systems.
• Lead through delivery: Work autonomously, communicate clearly, and execute with focus. No micromanagement; just ownership.
• Raise the bar: Apply best practices like TDD, DDD, and Clean Architecture as a natural part of your workflow.

💡 What we’re looking for

• Someone who executes with confidence, not someone looking to be coached
• Proven experience building scalable backends in a production environment
• Deep understanding of modern backend architecture; APIs, data modeling, system design
• A bias toward action: you prefer building over theorizing and take full accountability for delivery
• A true team player who communicates clearly and thrives in a no-nonsense, flat structure
