As a member of our software development team, you will take part in the creation of innovative products in cooperation with other Bosch divisions, using Agile software development. 

About the team/project 

You will be working in an international team with global responsibility for the datacenter network environment, including the relevant automation framework, tools, and APIs within Bosch. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to exciting projects that make a real impact. You will develop, test and maintain our APIs based on the requirements from our enterprise and cloud customers as well based on the demand from the networking team.  

Your contribution to something big: 

• Be an active part of the internship where you will gain knowledge of software engineering practices 
• Interact closely with your mentor on the learning opportunities 
• Gradually take assignments at Bosch projects after completing the relevant trainings 
• Participation in team and project discussions and collaboration to develop your soft skills

What distinguishes you: 

• Good understanding of Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) 
• Familiarity with SOLID design principles 
• Basic knowledge of RESTful API development and client-server communication 
• Experience with Git / Version Control 
• Exposure to either SQL or NoSQL databases 
• Problem-solving and debugging skills 
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken 
• BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent 

What will be considered as an advantage: 

• Basic knowledge of Angular or modern frontend frameworks 
• Familiarity with containerization 
• Experience with testing strategies and patterns 
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
